Father's Day

Looks like another Father's day is right around the corner. Make sure you see your farther, or at least call him. You think your dad is young, and will be around a long time. Time goes by real fast. My Dad has been gone around 16 years already, and think of him quite often. When I was in the Navy I would get a letter from him all the time, to let me know what was going on around the farm. I looked foreward to Dad's letters. Have a happy Fathers Day. Stan

My father is gone(4 years),son is away in the Navy.Wife is in a hospital 60 miles away. The rest of family is 320 miles away.I will be alone.Enjoy(and love)your familys-today and always-they are the reason you are a father.God bless you all.

I lost my Dad to cancer 19 years ago July 17th and a day hardly ever goes by I don"t think about him or remember something we did together or something he told me. He was a truck owner/driver/mechanic and I got a lot of my basic mechanical knowledge/skills/work ethics from him. Even to this day, friends of his reflect on things he talked about/had opinions on and how they admired him. That means a lot in this day and time.

My dad died 17 years ago. Still dream about him regularly. Thanks for making me think about him.

My dad just turned 92 on the 15th. He's coming for dinner today. I'm anxious to show him my garden. I got a very nice card from my daughter yesterday.

Funny you mention dreaming about Dad. I frequently dream about my Dad also. He's been gone 10 years now, but he's still with me. My natural Father died when I was 16 months old so I never really knew him. Mom remarried awhile later and Dad raised my "big sister" (5' tall 100 lbs) and I as his own, very much to the chagrin of his Father. Dad truely has a place of honor with me.

Absolutely, lost my Dad 11 years ago and seldom does a day go by that thoughts of how he might view or handle a situation goes through my mind. So often I find simple situations that I know little to nothing about, but know he would have experience in. Breaks my heart when I think of the period in my life when I didnt think he was a very smart man. Well, as he would say...."Too soon old, Too late smart" I swear he has taught me as much from the grave about life as he did when he was alive. Thanks Dad

I lost my dad 10 yrs ago today, much too soon but he's in a better place now. I often wonder how much would be different if he was still around. On a lighter note, my daughters are taking me out for lunch........... Always an adventure with an 18 yr. old and 16 yr. old!!!

my dad has been gone 9 or 10 years i wish he could see my Highland cattle they are said to have came from same area of Scotland as my ancestors.
tall kid has to work today i don't know if he is going to do something for dad or not.

My father passed in 2007; still visit with him in a dream now and then.

My grandaddy passed in 1961; still see him on occasion at his favorite places on "his" farm.

See both of them every time I look in a mirror.

Hope all of you have a good day.
