I have a 69' Ford F-100 that I thought would be kinda neat if i painted like an dealer truck from that era, but I am having troubles finding a picture to see how they were painted. If anybody has any pictues of one from that era I sure could use some help. Thanks

'69? isn't that just a couple of years ago? aren't there still a lot of them on the road? oops, senior moment.

Our dealer painted it all green, bolted a toy tractor on the hood in place of hood ornament. (Finally gave up, as kids kept stealing them.) Painted dealer name and phone on doors in yellow.... (JD dealer in case you wondered.)

1969 Ford F-Series Contractors Special

A Contractors Special package was offered on 1969 Ford F-Series pickups, which included side boxes for the bed and an optional underhood 110-volt generator. F-Series grilles were changed only slightly for 1969.

nice pic's, my dad bought one of those brand new in '69, wish i could have gotten it away from him when i needed a pickup in '73 but he wouldnt sell it, traded it off in the gas crunch of '74 for a datsun, never was too happy with that thing
