does anyone know if u can remove the cab from white tractors? ITs rare to see a white with no cab . And does anyone know what to look for when purchaseing a white in the 100 horse range.

It would be pretty easy to take the cab off a 2-105,but it should be easy to find one with out a cab.I don't know if the latter models like a 100 would be hard to take the cab off of,but why would you want to.

Some yes,some no.

It all depends on the shifter location. The larger Whites with cab mounted shifter as in the 2-155 and 2-180 will have cab mount shift and are not operable without cab.

On the other hand,it's very common to see a 2-70 or 2-85 with no cab. These have the floor shifter.

I once owned a 1979 model 2-105 factory no cab. I loved the tractor, but I had to let it go to get my American 80. Older the tractor, the easier to find them factory no cab. I heard once that in 1982, all Whites sold in the USA were required to have atleast a roll-over canopy. I have seen a 2-88 with no roll-over, but the story goes that it was sold in Canada. I have seen a 120 White with a 4 post Rops once. 2-70's never had a factory cab, and all 2-135 and up tractors would have had a cab or a rops. So, your looking for either a 2-85 or 2-105 if you want a non-Rops, open station White tractor.

I attached a picture of my 2-105 along with a 508 3 bottom plow I once owned as well. To find late model like I had is harder to find. Good luck!

dad has a 2-85 without a cab. I guess it also does not have a roll bar either. I think it's a 1978 vintage with fwa. It's also for sale if you're possibly interested, in NE.

When I read the subject line, my first thought was to contact the Rev. Jessie Jackson, friend of the American farmer, to see if he couldn't correct this horrible injustice and get cabs for the white farmers so they could be equals to the black farmers.

I know that the FSA has been fighting decades long legal battles over discrimination of black farmers so I thought this was only fair.

Guess I was a little off track. As Rosanne Rosanne-adanna use to say " Never Mind"
