"Can we please talk about tractors and farming again? God forbid we talk about such in this forum."( Your last sentence on oil change).

317 posts in 8 years !!! WOW !!!
Well I guess you are quite an authority on people ! So much as you have been given the right to judge them .

My suggestion to you is if ya wanna talk only about tractors , don't read OT posts Or if anyone offends your integrity don't read their posts.

James & Nancey's posts are always welcome here most are tractor related and we enjoy the pics and vids. I saw no cause for you to bash on them.

We don't laugh at them we laugh with them.

Those that post a reply here will show they have more support than you.

I'm with you Old Roy!

Most of my posts are OT but really like most everyone here. Lot of information.

Jim

Did you ever think maybe some font like your posts. This forum sure has got away from tractor related stuff. Everyone has their opinion whether you agree or not

I always look foward to the howells posts, they have some great collection of tractors and seem like great people to me, it is an honor to know them. Not everyone on here is full time farmer , but everyone seems to love tractors isnt that the great part of this site? I see no reason to bash anyone on this site, Lets keep this site just the way it is with a blend of tractor lovers and farmers in all different levels and degrees and if you dont like a post, dont bother reading it!

I agree 100%...

I used to farm 3,000 acres of irrigation, but now work an office job and dabble with 80 acres of dryland (which is just a garden spot compared to the "real" farmers around here).

Am I just a "wanna-be" now??? I can show you all the scars on my knuckles from the years when I was the "real thing"...

I used to show up at the coffee shop greasy & dirty and enjoy a break with everyone else. Everyone from the local banker to the hired hands would show up there... The "real farmers" didn't discriminate against anyone else...

We would talk about anything important to farmers - or just shoot the breeze. Nobody had a rule that we couldn't talk about anything but tractors. Maybe they ought to rename this forum "coffee shop" and let the "real tractor" conversations happen in the brand forums...

Since I don't make it to the coffee shop anymore, this is my substitute...

The Howell's contribute much more to the forum than ChrisB ever has...

I think its kind of nice to be able to ask about a problem Im haveing and know there other folks on here that I have never met that will still help me out if they can. also feel that Nancy and James are great folks liveing thier lives the way we all should. also Chris B if you need help with something let me know Ill tell you bout the 8n I used to own. bless you all.

Same here Kruser,

I see most don't mind Off Topic , When you see off topics here that means all is going well on the tractor side.

I was surprised to find all the different posts have turned out with all these members with back grounds for, Electrical , leagle,Water systems, etc.
Even had a "Road Dog" and (I hope all is well with him), ran by the name of SGT Bull helped us with CDL laws.
A tractor trailer still needs a tractor to load it .
Most relating to farms, and a farm aint a farm without a tractor, and a truck .

Maybe Chris thinks talking of maybe baler problems isn't tractor related

If that "font" is supposed to be a don't
I dont care if some don't like my posts .I just don't believe that responses should end up with a bashing contest.

We are all grown ups here and we should act as such. (My opinion though ). Maybe we should go back to the Cub Cadet site ?

I have learned very much from ot posts got help for my well and many other subjects, there is so much valuable info to be obtained on this site and Iam thankful people take the time to offer help Why do a few people always want to complain?

I guess I missed his post but I can"t believe anyone would bash the Howells; they are great contributors and their posts are interesting.

I didn"t see Chris B"s post so I can"t comment on it but I don"t see any reason why the Howell"s should be chastized. They are among the most down to earth posters on this site. James and Nancy, keep the post a"commin. Jim

That is why it is called OT. Don't like it don't read it. All Nancy said was that she thought the price was more than it should have been. I can agree with that. Some shops do raise the price if a women comes in.

Happened to my wife one time. Guy at the shop told her the battery was to weak to pass the state inspection. I got home she told me about it. I went down to the shop to talk to them. They tried to tell me it was a new law. Ask them to show me the law. Then I said better yet you can show me and the DPS inspector the law. Guy thought I was bluffing until I pulled out my card file and showed him. The DPS inspectors phone number and the other DPS cards I had. Got my money back and a new battery.
