farmers almanac

I have and it does make a difference. I also go by it for cutting grass and getting my haircut. Works well for weaning too if you don't want a bunch of moms and calves bawling - personally I think it is music.

Sam, I was really gonna try this year up here in North-Central Missouri. The rains have been so bad, I don't think its been a good test year. I barely have anything growing and my second re-plant of sweet corn is only about 6 inches tall. A friend of mine, Tipper from Appalachia, is going on her second year testing out the signs. If you would like, here is a link to the gardening section of her (not asian or escorty) blog. She is full of old timey info!

i agree on the cows , we try to do are dehornin by the signs as well, they bleed just a little, if you do it off the right sign it seems they bleed really bad.

I cut all my pigs by the Old Farmers Almanac. Both my grandparents believed in it, so I have alway done the same. almost no bleeding at all when you follow the signs.
