Why not keep this area for dicussion only?
There is another section for selling.
Namely Photo ads or Classified ads.
THIS AREA IS NOT FOR SELLING ITEMS.
This is MY opinion.
Some of you are going to ruin Tractor Talk.
 
There's lots of things that go on around here that some folks don't like. Everybody has their own pet peeve,just get used to it. Now we know what yours is.
 
The owners of this site remind us occasionally of the rules. They also remove what they don"t like which is their exclusive right. Usually my cynical remarks fall victim to the poof monster. So I just wipe my eyes and go on to something else. Don"t sweat the small stuff, and after all, it"s all small stuff. TDF

Yep, ain't THAT the truth!

I was always told "don't SWEAT the petty things and don't PET the sweaty things"!
 
This site has seen more than a few that threw everything they had at ruining this place. They caused trouble, broke rules, irritated many, and then moved on. There's a few here now that have the potential to fit what I just described. So far, they haven't shut 'er down.

My point (if I have one) is OFTEN, pointing out trouble makers, rules breakers, and those who irritate USUALLY results in them getting EXACTLY what they're after.

My best advice in a case like this? Ignore them and/or the trolls. They will go away.
 
Some recently appoint you to "Chief of Forum Police"? Yeah, it is against the rules, but far more offensive types have come and gone. Idle down buddy.
 
Yeah,why not complain? After all,you have a WHOPPING 22 posts or replies on YT! A real veteran to the forum.
 
A lot of times someone needing a part has tried those approches with no luck and post on here with the hope somebody that DOES NOT read the adds will have the part laying around and be able to help them. I have been able to do both buy and sell parts this way that with the adds would never have been possible. And I have been here since about 1997.
