The area in the link is about 150 miles north of me. The Rip Van Winkle and a bunch of the witch fairytales come out of that area.After going there, you can see why. If little kids (or anyone for that matter) wandered around in the night or strange areas, they'd prolly fall. Hundreds of pics, if you click on the last pic of the page it goes to another page. Links at the left open more pics/legends. May also be some stories in english also. Enjoy.

Hate to burst your bubble though on Rip Van Winkle. Rip was written by American author Washington Irving and was set in the Catskill Moutains of New York.

That was my mistake, there is a story there almost the same with a different name and I put them together. Sorry. Still nice pics though.
