Well the senseless takers have come and gone from our little valley here in Alabammer.They have counted and recounted everyone,well almost everyone. One neighbor, Billy Bob, hid in the chcken house and they missed him. Neighbor said they where after my ETD and his fancy still. Well anyway the gunfire has stopped and the dust has settled. I'm sure as hog-slop glad that it only happens once every ten years. The stress is mighty hard on us honest folks. Heard on the Radidio that they hired 4110000000 people to do the job. They gonna have to print a bunch of money to pay them folks. Just thinkin about it makes me tired. Think i'll go take a nap.
 
They had gone by an 'abandoned' house I cleaned out the other week for the family of a guy that had died nearly two years ago. I know this because even though the place was so grown up around it that there was obviously had no one living there they had left their 'calling card' on the front door. I'd love to be in the room when that guy calls in from 'the beyond' to be counted....LOL
 
When I went up north to the cabin to go mushrooming there was one of their packets on the door. I looked up a hispanic name on the s^x offenders list and gave them that name. Told them I lived there with my 3 girlfriends and 14 kids.
 

its hard to figure out them government critters out . i got my census form about 2-3 weeks early and was holding it to fill out april first . well 4 or 5 days before april the first i got a letter wanting to know why i hadn't sent it in . well i sent it in the next day. couple of days latter my daughter came to live with me and the wife . only a drop in the bucket but so much for accurate government information .
 
Why do we waste mony counting people anyway.

The Social Security people have every one listed that wants to be found.

How many people who dont have a S.S. number are going to say yes I live here and dont pay taxes.

Here you sign up for a S.S. number for your children befor school age so you will only miss the 0-5 age group. That could be estimated and get close enough. Tax returns have them listed anyway so the IRS could fill in the blanks.
 
I rent some warehouse space in an old school house. A census taker came by and asked how many people lived there.. Told her NONE, and she kept asking was I sure....

I bet our govt has a better census on how many cows are here, than people.. They can sure account for them in a Mad Cow outbreak..
 
I wonder if their senseless figures are better than the government's employment figures. Saw a census taker interviewed who said she was hired, laid off and rehired 5 times already... and every time she's "rehired" the government counts that as another new job! So when the senseless taker comes just keep leaving the room and coming back and you are a bunch of people.
 
Outside of my town we have the forms hanging on the doors of two burned out houses. Also many forms hanging on gates to empty fields.
