electric fencer antitheft box???

Hey folks,
You can get a metal box here to put your charger and battery in that is also charged. In order to get at the goodies you have to use a key (w/rubber) to open it and turn it off.
Haven't been able to find anything like it in American catalogs. Any of you know what I'm talking about and maybe a source to get them? Ormaybe a painful suggestion to keep folks from turning my fence off? Seem to have some smart a$$es around the last couple weeks.

that sounds like a good idea. my boss used to fence around the fencer wires close together so no one could crawl through.( they were all hot) the ground wire had to be disconected about 30-40 feet away or you couldn't get into work on the fencer.I guy hooked up his car seat to a plug wire and had a hidden switch under the dash. he left his keys in the ignition all the time he only knows of one guy that ever tryed to steel it

Can't help you on a anti-theft box, have never seen something like that on the market. If your smart a$$es are really smart all they need to do is lean a piece of metal against a wire and ground the fence out.
 
Never heard of those boxes. If your fencer is metal cased, hang it from plastic twine and then interchange the ground and fence output wires. Its amazing how many people will touch the fencer out of curiosity, get shocked and then lose interest in the fencer.
 
Bee hives are wired to keep the bears away and charger inside a hive keeps crooks from stealing the charger.Few will mess with a bee hive.
