The Kruse auction in Angola, IN is done, probably for good. Yesterday, Indiana Auction comm. revoked the Kruse license for 7 years and Mr. Kruse's personal license for 2 years both of which have a lot of strings attached. Sounds like the board wanted to go for a permanent revoke. Big deal was them not paying consignors within 30 days if at all, sending bad checks.

Wonder if the folks in that big Nebraska that switched from auman to kruse got paid?? buyer and seller beware now days (Craig's list too)

This should help a few of our smaller, local, reputable auctioneers that dable in classic car auctions.

Didn"t E-bay buy out Kruse several years ago? I thought that would give them enough to stay afloat? My guess is Mr. Kruse has enough stashed away to have a very confortable retirement.

Auburn, IN... just a bit further South than Angola...

Ebay bought out kruse, but when they took a closer look at the books numbers were inflated,
debts were covered up and he got the place back to stay out of jail. This is the second time he lost his license.

That happened LONG before the "economy" took a dive which is what Kruse is blaming on their current problems.

Sounds like someone will have to come in for the collector car auction or it will be canceled.

Sometimes you get what you deserve. What happened to the thousands from the big sale a couple years ago? He was even charging just to look if I remember correctly. Maybe Aumanns(sp) will get the last laugh after all? Dave

I'M sure there will be a new Crooked auction Gang to REplace the Wanton crookedness of Kruse. I won't go and spell out the name, but you may be able to cipher it out, nonetheless!
