Got tired of listening to the St.Louis weather forecasters and started putin' hay on the ground.Between the rain and workin' 6 10s at my job I'm only 2 weeks behind. You can see the rain bow in to the east and the sun shine in the west, but dry in the field.

Looks like a very good frist cutting. I wish mine was that good looking. Hay is gonna be short here this year. We"ve doubed it the mini drought during the month of April. No Rain and hot windy weather really stunted the crop. We didnt start getting rain until week before last, so first cutting will be decent instead of good to excellent.

Remember, It's not hay until it is baled and under cover. I hope you end up on the good side of the 50 % thunder showers forecast.
