Years ago my father would call and talk to one of his B17 crewmembers in Yankton, SD.

He always would say "Nothing much has changed and I still look them same."

Guessing that you still look the same as your 1953 photo?

Thank you for your service.

Just remember that beauty is only skin deep, <s>butt</s> but ugly goes all the way to the bone.

Really like that John Deere yellow shirt with the JD logo.

How about a photo of you cutting willows in the creek!

Thank you for the compliment.

We're just average American folks that enjoy old tractors, hobby farming, and visiting with others on this forum.

I like that Pom you're holding. We raised them back in the 1980's. We had 7 of them running through the house. Had to feed them separately.

My gosh James she is so fast I could not get a look at her. Noticed the long hair like barrel racers have. Does she ride a horse like she drives that tractor.

I'm still in the 170-175 weight class. Guess that's not too bad for 5'11". Don't have as much hair. Still in pretty good health and so is my wife of 57 years. Our daughter was born at Ft Bragg in 1954. Hal
PS: I have some more pictures somewhere on here
I wll post later. My brother had joined the US Air Force in 1951 about 3 days after we graduated from high school.

Here's my wife and I in 1953 she joined me at Ft Bragg after I was stationed there. The other picture was taken in Florida in 2007 when we attended a memorial service for my late brother-in-law. Our daughter is in too. She just turned 56 this month. She'a a nurse practitioner
in Baltimore and never married. She has her own home near Baltimore. Hal
PS: I'm having trouble finding that FL picture of us. Will post it once I find it

Here's that pic from FL in 2007. We got stuck in Tampa since heavy storms were in DC where our plane was grounded until the storm cleared. We had checked in by 6pm and plane didn't arrive until 1 am. He sure kicked that plane in the rear we were in Baltimore in 2 hours. Glad to be home too. Hal

Well, I've got thousands of pictures of tractors & things, but only a couple with me in the picture... And none of those are farming or tractor related, so this is the best I can do.

I took the kids to San Antonio a while back - it was hotter than heck, but we had a great time...

Nice thread topic! I've always thought a nice addition to this board would be to expand the Tractor Town section to include photos and a little location information, so when a person comments "well, around here...", you'd know roughly where "here" is.

Seems like the women in our family can't figure out a camera - had to do it myself!

Just kiddin - got this box for Christmas and was just trying it out at work - think I mighta blinked though
.
Course this was BEFORE I got to meet the glennster, so actual pose may be different.

PS: I said it would be a cold day before I would go up and see the glennster.

Yep, got the trailer out and got to meet him!
