Strange Thing!!!

Well, I went to the shed to get on the tractor to cut hay this morning there was a 3+ foot black snake on the footrest. When I grabbed for him he crawled up in one of the hat shaped fender supports. I beat on the thing for a while and he wouldn’t come out so I took off to the field. I’d see him stick his head out once in a while but he stuck with me all day. When I quite this evening he was still there. I suppose he’ll leave tonight thinking it was just to hot to cut hay.

Pulled the hay tarp off the last of the stack a couple weeks ago an found a large black.
When he didnt move I looked closer an found he was blind. His eyes were gray ovals.
He didnt seem to mind me until I picked him up to move him so I could move the bale.
Put him on the ground and he crawled under another bale.

Hey there;
When a snake sheds its skin, its normal
for their eyes to get cloudy. They are
real clear, after shedding is complete.
Used to have a Boa constrictor, she was
8 ft. long and weighed about 55 lbs.
Long story about wife taking it to my
sons school.

God Bless

I would have never been on that tractor with him. I had a gardener snake sunning himself on my car windshield wipers last summer and he went down the firewall, I wouldnt drive the car for a few days until I knew he was gone. Didnt want him coming threw a hole in the firewall as I was driving. Only thing I'm afraid of in snakes, big or small!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have a couple that like to change their skin in the yard/flower bed at the farm. I've seen three skins so far. Never see the snake, just what they leave behind.
