There's a guy living up the end of our street who drives his 4WD like an idiot. As well as driving a bit on the quick side, he is not adverse to taking the odd short cut up the grass verge. Today I'm sitting at home, minding my own business, when the sound of a reving engine and grinding gears caused me to cease minding my my own business and look out to find said 4WD stalled across the road. It was making a lovely howeling grinding noise every time he selected a gear and tried to move. It sounded like the diff to me. While not exactly gloating I just smiled on the inside and went back to minding my own business.

Do you think this will cause him to change his ways?

I used to be "That Guy" Loud exhaust, radio, drove it like I stloe it. I sure tore up a couple of nice trucks. it think the fact that alcohol was involed might have been the cause along with immaturity.
to day my 11 year old 4x4 still looks new.

Use to know a guy down here with the truck jacked up ten feet in the air. 4WD and all the other useless stuff on it. Loved to run over turtles. Well he hit one one day.
Part of the shell went through the tire. Blew out the tire rolled the truck.
Truck went to the junkyard and he got to stay in the hospital for a month.
Never saw him hit another turtle.

Hello Burnie,
On a lighter note, here is a question for you.
Yep it is trick question....all in fun.
Do you know what is the difference between a 2 WD and a 4 WD?
Guido

Hello Burnie,
A 4 WD will go further into the woods before,
the dummies get stuck!
Guido.

I repaired a tire for a lady and when she asked what was in it I told her a bone, she was as happy as a clam. She said her husband would hit every piece of road kill he could, I bet he quit after she kept telling him, I TOLD YOU SO!

We must be neighbors. There are a dozen pickups on my block. About 5 of them have to have loud mufflers and drive like idiots. Then they leave mud all over the street after they've been four wheeling. Seeing those pickups just coated with mud, that is a bear to clean up. Don't understand why they do it.

Atleast with a 4X4 if ya blow the rear end you can take the rear driveshaft out and drive on front wheel drive (as long as the axle shafts aint snapped). BTDT
