planting depth for soybeans

What do you guys recomend for planting depth on soybeans using a planter, has been plenty wet so when I do get it the feild want to do everything possible to get it right the first time! Thanks

beans you want to plant shallow. Half a inch to Inch and a half.

Old school rule of thumb, get out and walk down a row and if you don't occasionally see a seed you need to shallow up some.

Just remember that when a bean emerges it has to push the seed out of the ground, (first two leaves are what is left of the seed).
