...our K-9 unit put on a demo at the COURT HOUSE in Louisville of all places. The dope dog came down the aisle through the seats and immediately turned and bit into the leg of a spectator who happened to have a bag of grass in his pocket. Now the dogs are trained to sit after a hit and not chomp down. I'm trying to remember but I think the "victim" was an auxillary sheriff.....Ha Ha!!

Kinda makes sense when you think about it....You wanna find sick people, you go to a hospital. You wanna find criminals, you go to a court house. You just don't expect them to have a badge and a gun though.....

Looks like we dodged the "100% chance of severe weather" last night and this morning.

Oh yeah, Happy Birthday (a day late)

They catch a lot of drunk drivers at the courthouses here, they can't stop drinking even to appear at their drunk driving hearing.

Go to an exhibit for a dope sniffing dog with weed in your pocket? You gotta be kidding!!!

Of course, he will claim he had it just to test the dog.

Just read in our local paper about the owner of a private detective firm getting busted for soliciting a prostitute. He claims he was working a case for a elderly man who was gettting ripped off by the prostitute....
hahahha

Few years back was a drug sniffer that had a habit of pissing on coke users. Was in court room and lifted leg on female prosecuter- most people laughed, prosecutor was mad but judge and couple deputies who knew dog weren't laughing-- Judge ordered prosecutor 'en camera' and had hair sample taken when she objected to filling cup, deputies held her by judges order while he cut sample to be tested. Couple days of prosecutors office cussin' then judge got test results back- prosecutor took a medical leave of absence and was barred from judges court under threat of contempt incarceration, deputies did some inventory checking on evidence sent to prosecutors office and as they suspected found sugar, etc in the 'coke' bags. Judge bought dog bag of biscuits. This was in Kentucky or Tennesee? RN

The fall of '07 we had the largest bust of a weed growing opperation in county history. (clark co wisconsin) done by state troopers and sherif depuitys from another county, the accused? the former district atty. the house raided?? three blocks from the front door of the sherif's dept. Court is the best place to look for crooks.

"You just don"t expect them to have a badge and a gun though..." Oh but yeah! They"re better than us common riff raff. TDF

that kind of thing just happened in Plattville one of the cops was cought smoking crack on duty the F.B.I was called in to investigate.....

About 10 years ago, the state police had some helicopters flying grids with some national guard and Army helicopters over Crawford County. They went and gathered up all the weed they found. Most of it (something like over 90%) was wild. They had a front-page article in the paper about all the weed they took off the market, and pictures of the elementary school kids standing around the huge pile they had at the airport, while burning it. With a large group of kids standing downwind. There was a small snippet in the paper a week or two later about how they had to cut trails into where a lot of it was growing wild.
