week of dry weather

look like saturday thru thrusday is going to e dry enough to cut some and maybe dry the dirt enough to work it. what everybody else gonna try to do? i think ill try to cut a small hay field. work in the garden.

Starting saturday will start drying here for about a week. Going to get my sweet corn in.

I have my first cutting hay down. This is the earliest I remember cutting hay on May 18th. Going to bale Saturday if weather holds out here in Southern Minnesota. Hay looks really good. Good luck to all in the field.

I actually seen some yesterday being set on the way to the New Holland dealer Must of been a dry spot Becuase its realy muddy around hear

Time to make hay around southern MO for sure. The week before Memorial Day has been clear sailing for putting up hay for the last several years and it looks like this year might not be any different. I've got a couple of fields to visit, though. We've had lots of rain and those fields tend to be a little wet.

Our milk cow is due to freshen within two weeks or so. That will be fun. So will the fresh butter, cream, ice cream, etc, etc.
