I think it's a 1951.But what i was wondering is how do you know if these farmall tractors have a torque amplifier or not? Or if H's even have them or what year or models do have them? Thanks,Joe P.S.by the way i'm in the Tazewell,TN.area and i do everything from tune up's to complete restorations on farmall's except tranny and rearend work I do media and sandblasting and paint work we have a complete list of referances from pullers and show tractor owners we ship and receive UPS and FedX on small parts and parts of weight and size to ship by these companies. We can p/u and Del. for a fee.Feel free to call us 865-207-6900 /865-278-7684/423-626-0230 before 9am eastern

Not to sound rude, but are you seriously claiming to restore farmall tractors and at the same time asking how to tell if a tractor has a TA?

Yes sir i sure do but if you read it i don't do tranny or rearend work but i can rebuild a farmall engine with my eyes closed i build my own wiring harnesses i buillt a C last year that took TN.state county fair champion and you know what it didn't have amplifier. But i did change the 113 cubic in. motor to a lp engine out of a fork lift that i changed to gas.I built a MTA high crop last year that won 17 1st places and it had a amplifier but i didn't build it the guy that owned it redone it i was just wondering if this H had one or which ones had them.I don't claim to know everything about my farmalls from the bellhousing back but from there fowards i know my shi@ and when it comes to media blasting and paint and metal work my customers will tell you i'm the best in this part of the country i tell them if they are not satisfied i'll do it over or it's free i've never done none over or free but like i said i'll be the first to tell you i'll put a clutch in or adjust it either kind but no i can't walk up and say this one has an amplifier and this one don't or what all models have them.Thanks,Joe.

To answer your question, anything older than an MTA, does not have TA or was it availble. Anyone claiming it does, is wrong, lieing, or a scam artist.

so if the trans. or diff. needs work is it a partial restoration? or is it farmed out?
just like painting is painting not a restoration.
