Hard frost in N Maine this am. Weather has been so warm everything was ahead of itself. I think fruit tree buds took a lickin, all were in bloom.

Heavy fog here in the Finger Lakes this morning. Suppose to clear briefly then clouds coming for rain later. Wind is suppose to come in from the East so we will get some kind of precipitation. Things have come to a stop around the area with the cool damp weather for the last week. I'm guessing crops are just under half in at this point.

Must be moving east. We had it Saturday,Sunday and Monday here in Michigan.
Raining like there's no tomorrow right now,so you have that to look forward to next.

We got hit in Pa. with frost also my grape vines got hit 3 times every time they start growing they got frosted again. Will my grape crop be affacted?

Several counties here in southen MN had the corn freeze off almost a week ago. Experts say it';s fine.

But, been raining every day since, soaked ground with small puddles, and the high hasn't been out of the 40's since. That has to be a tough burden on the frozen off corn.

Should see 70's and 80's in a few days,s ee if it comes out again.

If not,t here is a big area of corn that has been damaged....

We had that same situation here in the Ozarks a couple of years ago. Apple trees all covered in blossoms and then we got a hard freeze. Lost ALL of the fruit that year! A local PYO orchard went out of business the next year. Fortunately the new owner didn't bulldoze the trees but is running the orchard as a business.
