350 John Deere throttle cable

I posted this on the crawler forum but didn't get any response, so I thought I'd try on here. I'm in need of a throttle cable for a 350 John Deere diesel crawler. Does anyone have a used one they would be willing to sell or know of any salvage yards that would possibly have one. New ones are pretty pricey. My email is open. Thanks, Keith
 
Go to a JD dealer or heavy equipment parts supplier and see if they are part of the used parts network. They might have a used one or be able to get one from another used parts dealer. The dealer here used to have lots of used parts but moved them all to their branch in Regina. You could try Brandt tractor but they're in Canada. I used to have a 355D which is almost the same as 350 and they had lots of used parts for them as well as 450's. Dave
 
If you know the length, try GOOGLING "morse cable" to see what a generic one would cost.
 
Thanks guys for the help. I found one, a neighbor had one from a 350 he had a long time ago, still in good shape & the price was right (free for tilling his garden). It's amazing what you can find sometimes wothout looking. He stopped by to get me to do his garden & I was working on it, mentioned I was looking for one & the rest is history. Keith
