Hayrack trailer types

Can anyone tell me the name for the style of trailer this people-mover was made from? It's a low-boy style with a tricycle front end. I see this type of trailer from time to time from the road but didn't know if there was a name for them. Are they just another type of "hay rack" or are they called something else? It's hard to search for something when you don't know what it's called. When you search "hay rack" or "running gear" you don't find this style of trailer. Thanks.

That looks to be custom built thing? Really haven't seen a lowboy hayrack - wouldn't be good to walk on.

My guess anyhow, until someone who actually knows comes along. :)

Without the sides it would resemble an old fashioned rack for hauling bundles of corn in the days of cutting corn with a binder.

Yeah, it's obviously custom built but I think they started with a low boy, tricycle front trailer. Wish I had a better pic of the type of trailer I'm talking about but I can't seem to find one online.

Just found a pic. Here's what I'm talking about. Is there a specific name for these?

I'm wondering if this is a local thing. Is anyone familiar with these?

looks like a short header trailer with a deck put on it. i see these all the time but longer for transporting grain platforms for combines.

hope that helps
good day to all

Volzke Mfg. in Utica, NE made those by the hundreds. Maybe they still do.

Wide set rear wheels, lowboy deck, frame in front sweeping up to a peak to a pivot over the front wheels. Front wheels maybe 18" apart with the tongue between.
