I cant get the pin out to move the drawbar forwards and backwards. I push up from the bottom then it just stops. Is there a bolt or pin somewhere to remove???

when it "just stops", lean it over to the left or right and it will come out enough to move the draw bar!

May I ask "lean what"

There is a pin retainer that one must turn to where the cutout spot in retainer will allow head of drawbar pin to be pushed up enough to free drawbar. Retainer part # is R34253 RETAINER 1 (SUB R96420, A147R, R28040, 19H1732 AND 12H304)

I'm not familiar with JD....

Your manual can help you - you should have a manual. Tractors, combines, & planters - a manual is pretty easy to get & pretty important to have.

Either there is a hairpin retainer at the top of the pin of some sort, which you can just barely get a finger on if you push the pin up, or you need to push the pin up, rotate it 1/4 turn, and let it fall out the bottom - it will have 2 ears on it that fit in slots.

Those are the 2 common ways of other color tractors I have worked with.
