the wife and I went to the kutztown pa produce and hay auction my wife bought some nice hanging flower baskets for 7 dollars each and we bought ten dozen fresh brown eggs for 60 cents a dozen , some of the menonite farmers bring stuff in by horse and wagon

Nice photos. The horse looks kind of forlorn.
Eggs will last a long time if kept refrigerated.
When I was in the Navy we'd get fresh refrigerated eggs and supply them to the submarines. We only got replenished ourselves about 3 or 4 times per year and no telling how long it took to get them over to us in Italy.
I bought a 3 row carton of eggs (18) on Thursday but honestly can't recall what I paid for them. I suspect it was over 60¢/doz.

didnt the government tell you yuo cant eat eggs sunnyside up? lol we gave alot of them to friends couldnt resist at that price there was a lot of eggs for sale there so the prices were cheap
