tractor question

I'm currently looking at a 1998 New Holland 8260 2wd and cab, my mechanic is going with me to look at it for the final time, he was going to check it out, put the gauges on it just to make sure everything is good and not wore out. Problem is both of us have no specs on it, does anybody here know for example what the front pump PSI should be? Rear SCV's? we are just needing something to do by

Thanks

If I was you I would run the tractor with a load on it, like pull a plow or something. I would also go to a NH dealer and get a manual on it and look up the PSI #s.

I'd be less worried about the system pressures than I would about the transmission...
I think system pressure is 2750 at high stand-by.

What I would do is run it through ALL gears and make sure it shifts right. Some of the PS models have been known to crap out... They lose the range syncro's I believe.
