The modifications the show some arent all that bad I guess.

Before the internet and fedex, we had a Allis Chalmer B that we could never get parts for other than tune up, and we straightened one front rim because we were told they were unavailable. We used it with one back wheel attached with a chain mainly as a stationary engine for a sawmill and a grinder moving it twice a year. My dad gave it away with the implements to a man who had two other B tractors so he could fix his.

As to the 3 point being stationary you hook up the implements with bolts or a shaft that runs thru both sides. Cat 0 and 1 go in between the brackets and bolt up.

My uncle did have a grading blade he made out of a 2 x 10 6 ft long and old plowshares at the bottom. It bolted with muffler clamps to the front cultivators on his Farmall A. He came up with the idea while stranded in a snowstorm with no way to dig himself out until then.

Nessesity is the mother of invention in many cases.

Yep,I was just talking with my cousins brother in law about that this morning. He said his son couldn't fix anything unless he had all new parts. I said yup,you had to be raised on a farm to know how to make due and improvise.
