Just kiddin - Drill crew was doing a sand and gravel survey in an existing pit in central Illinois this week.
Most farmers round here aren't complaining with a "little" rain though as they have most of their corn in and was getting kinda dry.

Dry as a bone here. Haven't had any measurable rain in about a month and a half. Calling for rain today but its sunny with not a cloud in the sky:(.

We "ve had some sorry little ol" showers but we don"t have a big snowpack and we had a dry fall. Between the lack of water so far and a possible major problem with the "hoppers, it looks like a tough year in the making.
Of course we could get a bunch of rain in May and June that will save the hay and kill a lot of the hoppers.

3/4" over night here. More predicted tonight, and tomorrow-but also severe storms in the forcast. Greg

We were supposed to get rain here all day, stayed cloudy but not a drop here in S.E. Ohio. We really could use a good soaking rain. Keith

got 7/10 yesterday, according to the rain gauge. little damp out there. worked on the neighbors field cultivator today, broke a couple shanks off last year, then caught a fence post and bent the toolbar for the spike drag. ran the m over there and got er all welded up. need a little dry and he can get his corn in.

Got 2+ inches in about an hour late this afternoon. Just finished planting corn wednesday afternoon, so hope the ground doesn't seal over before the corn gets up. It was no till after beans so that may help some. I'm in west Ky.
