We went to that Caddillac Sky concert last night. If you're a fan of bluegrass, avoid them like the plague. Worst show I've ever paid good money to see. Bunch of grubby rock and rollers with bluegrass instruments. They had a gal by the name of Jill Andrews opened for them. I haven't been that bored since the coach made us sit on the locker room floor and watch a long educational film about canning Bartlett pears. Good Lord that woman droned on. Every song sounded just like the last.
Oh well,Texas Country Reporter was a rerun on TV last night enyway.

I hear ya brother. If you want to hear some good bluegrass, check out The Bluegrass Brothers. Those boys know how to throw down!

Aw just go to U Tube and type in the Dillards.Or maybe Sonny & Bob Osborne. The Osborne Brothers-----RU----Beeey---RUBY !

Yep,I was at a flea market in Clark Range Tennessee last summer. There was a tent where an old boy was selling bluegrass CDs for $10 each. I told him if he had an Osborne Brothers CD with Georgia Piney Woods and Tennessee Hound dog both on it,I'd take one. Darned if he didn't walk right over and pull one out of the rack on the first try. It's STILL in the CD player in the truck.

Have to be careful what you say I guess. They took an intermission after Jill Andrews was done. I walked outside and there was another middle aged couple standing there on the sidewalk. I said "I couldn't take much more of that" and the guy said "I kinda liked it". Musta been her parents or something.

I am not into much blue grass music but I enjoy some of it. Alison Krauss and Dolly Parton have some very good songs. I also have the sound track from " O Brother, Where Art Thou" that I listen to as well. I like to hear some of the really old stuff every now and then.

Was in a junk store the other day, and they had the complete works of Bill Monroe, on 4 CD's, for 10 bucks! One of your better scores. . .

Couple of years ago I subscribed to XM
radio. Now I don't listen to anything else. You can listen to what you want. Not too many commercials. I personally like Willys place, all old stuff. Whatever trips your trigger. Bernie Steffen
