Outdoor kid schooling, beavers and woodchucks . .

Finally starting to warm up and hasn't snowed in a week.

Red fox came right to our back door yesterday, grabbed a chicken and found out it was too heavy to run with. Lots of feathers gone but all chickens survived. Good thing they are big hens.

Trapped our first woodchuck and relocating him(her) a few miles away in State forest. Little kid and dog had some fun.

My wife discovered that broccoli is about the only thing that coaxs them into the trap in our area. Especially later in the season when gardens are growing.

Looks like a very interesting, fun, outdoor, home school lesson to me.

Nothing could be more fun than "recycling" a woodchuck on Earth Day.

Thanks for sharing your photos with us.

Woodchuck knows best. We planted broccoli a few years ago, turned out the woodchuck thought it was to early, so he chewed it all down to the ground. It all came back and wasn't ready til Oct. Best we ever had, and no bugs.

Thats a fine looking boy you got there,John. Am sure you are VERY proud of him. Love him for all he is worth.bob
