Darned H decided to have a flat on one of the rear tires.

Well, I'm not messin' with goofy thing 'cause they are filled with fluid.

Get it loaded up and hauled into the tire shop. $120 later we're up on all fours again.

'Memeber when the dollar used to be worth a dollar? $61 for a silly tube!

They was a good bit bigger but I had to pay $100+ each for a pair of tubes a few weeks ago. They were made in Korea and I told the guy he should have driven some where closer to get them.

i did the same thing yesterday, took the wheel off and worked it with a tire hammer, no results, i decided somebody younger than me needed to beat on it break it down, and fix the tube, it cost 50,00 no liquid in the tire, and im sure the tire guy had a nice war with it, that tire hadnt been off the wheel in 15 years that i know of,

Good looking outfit. Is it really big enough for big rounds or big squares?Power steering?Swartz wide front?

Good grief. I have a slow leaker on the back of my WD, but they are not loaded yet so I just squirt a little air in it every few months.
I hope you locked the brakes and put it in low gear before you took off down the road. ;-)

Rubber, being another petroleum product puts us at the mercies of the commodity brokers/speculators....and they have no mercy, no patriotism, or compassion...except to money....just live with it, our modern government stands behind them, not we consumers.

I just got home from buying 2 new 12.4-38 tires and tubes. $33.31 each for the tubes, But maybe I got them cheaper because I bought tires also?

If you're referring to the Bush criminal years as "our modern government" I'll agree with you.

Allan I had to buy the rim, tube an pay service charges Rim cost me $220 the tube was included in the service charge which was $184

we each have to take some responsibility about purchasing things from overseas ( china for one) its easy for it to slip on you. i work for a freight company and recently we have been getting many prefab chicken coops and rabbit hutches being shipped thru. they are made in china and shipped here. i went online to look them up and they aint cheap. over $400 for the model i saw. and i doubt that they are really that well built-- and i dont know how to buy clothes made in USA. so now im buying work clothes at second hand store. my suit is made in USA so i guess i have to quit going to church so i can be buried in it (LOL) then we go to electronics-- i dont think anything is made here. but there are some choices try to make the right ones.

Allen I'll bet your tire man appreciated you bringing in the whole tractor. We have had people bring in just the wheel and tire. Wet or dry it is very hard to fix a rear off the tractor.
