2N Tool Box

I recently restored my 2N. The tool box was on the fender but I want to move it under the hood. Is there a bracket for this that I can purchase?

Mike:

The OEM location for the toolbox on your 2N is on the left side of the tractor below the rear of the hood.

Ford did not relocate the toolbox beneath the fuel door until the 8N was released in late 1947.

Tht 8N toolbox is not the same as the 2N toolbox.

i believe it bolted on the lower edge of the battery suport on the left side there are two holes there

Mike I am pretty sure your tractor is a 9N not a 2N. The tool box would not be under the hood originally. You might be able to make something but it would hurt the value of the tractor later.

On both the 9N and 2N the tool box is in exactly the same place and fastened to the side of the plate the battery sets on and it is the left side and the lid is hard to open in there. I have a 44 2N that Dad bought new in may of 44 and it has always been in that spot and I have a 41 9N and it is exactly the same as the 2N.
