Anybody know if these balers have any value? Or anybody looking for one? I know where there is one in nice shape its been shed kept, the sheet metal is straight & paint is nice.

At least the model 100 had a reputation of being so light weight that it would flex and miss bales (or worse) if you got into heavy hay, or tried to push it too hard. Had a friend who had one, he nursed it along and did OK with it, but it was a very low-capacity deal. Don't know if the 220 would be the same situation- I've never seen one.

I have a model 200, which is bacically the same machine with a narrower pickup. It has been a trouble free machine. It will always mistie the first bale after setting a couple of days and then run the rest of the day without any trouble. I use the premium sisal twine for best results. It doesn't like plastic twine. As for value, I paid $300.00 for mine about 5 years ago. 220's seem to bring a little more.

They are a light duty production machine and make nice, though slightly smaller bales... Gene
