OT corn flakes

What kind of corn are corn flakes made from. The reason I ask is after eating them this AM I had a piece stuck in me teeth. It was just like a popcorn hull.
 
Pretty sure it would be #1 yellow corn. Dont think they use white corn for corn flakes, and definatly not popcorn.
 
I don't know the type, but a local farmer grows for Kelloggs, he grows what they want, stores it, and sends it to them on their schedule. He has his own RR siding, fills cars when he wants. Big time farmers.
 
That piece that stuck to your tooth was probably just a piece of some workers fingernail or something.
 
Years ago I worked for the Battle Creek Food Co,Thats the one that started Cereal City,Dr Kellogg made the first Corn Flakes and his brother W,K, worked for him.They used #1 yellow corn
 
Is it true that the Feds have a regulation as to
how many Rat hairs and turds are allowed in
breakfast cereal ?
