My Ford Flathead engine is ready for the shows

I finally finished my portable engine stand and now can take it to the shows this summer. I was going to have it in the back of my 1933 Ford 11/2 ton, but found it was hard to see. Now its portable and should make for a good display.

Nice old engines! I got to o'haul 3 of 'em in my old days in vehicles I had, a '49 Ford pickup, a '52 Mercury Tudor and a '53 Ford Station Wagon. If you hand lap those valves in those old girls will run like a watch. Used to sound so good with a pair of Smithy's or Deeptone Glaspak mufflers.
