4 years ago I felt a "pop" while installing duals on my fathers tractor with little pain. Thursday I was home sick and was coughing hard. Again I felt a "pop" inside. Not a good feeling afterwords. Today the doc says there is 2 moderate tears in the muscle of my abdomen and there is 10 inches of intestine sticking out the hole and has fallen in. Weight restriction is the weight of my dinner plate with surgery as soon as Friday. So, I'll be haning out in tales next week. Be careful what you do.

Probly caused by the rough running, jumpy black and white tractors. Could be caused by standing close when someone is opening up the throttle on one.

Take care and have a quick recovery.

God's blessing in your surgery and RECOVERY!!!
Folks get hurt by trying to be SUPERMAN and in time it shows. Speaking from experience. Take care and DO BE CAREFULL and do what the DR Says. Reguards LOU & VICTOR

That surgery is no fun. I did something similar a few years ago lifting a set of cabinets into a rental truck. Make sure and have someone you trust hold the keys to the car, truck, tractor, etc. until you are off the pain meds and cleared to drive again.

Dave, I've been opened up from rib cage to pubic bone 2 times. Those stomach muscles healing don't feel good. you don't realize that you use them with every move you make. Just turning your head hurts. Forget about coughing, but if you have to- - bear hug a pillow.
Heal fast, it will feel a lot better in a couple of months.
