Today,I was given a JD 6600 diesel combine, set up for pinto beans. If I acept it,I will,What doI do withit?Older farmer friend quit useing it 5 yrs ago, tried to sell it for 3 yrs(offered to me several times)tired of looking at it.Said "come get it-drive it away"Should Ikeep it(its kinda overkill),sell it(he couldnt),or trade it?Now I need to find a corn head and grain platform.Maybee I can find some custom work.I'd rather have a 95/105,I like them lots better.

I always liked the 55, 95, and 105 combines. They were simple, dependable, easy to work on, and they didn't cost the price of a farm.

Funny thing was, when I sold my 105, I couldn't find the bean sprocket for it, although I'd used it a couple of weeks before. That was twenty years ago, and that sprocket never has shown up.
