schwarts wide fdront

(quoted from post at 06:34:02 04/02/10) is there a ID number on a schwarts wide front to tll you what model it is or tractor it was designed for?
thanks howard

Probably was a label on it at one time. If that label is gone, there is nothing else, but most of those Schwartz wide fronts all use the same tubes, center section, etc. The only main difference's would be the mounting brackets, steering brackets, etc. needed for a specific tractor. This means that you could take a widefront that was on a John Deere, change the mounting brackets, and install that same axle on a Farmall, and yes, the various mounting brackets, steering brackets, arms, etc. are readily available.
