No tractor driving for a while

Was pushing the car up the driveway last Tuesday and tore the tendon in my knee cap. Went down in screaming heap and scored a ride to the hospital in the ambulance. Had surgry on Wednesday & 4 days in hospital. Home now with leg cast & Mrs. Burnie playing nurse. It only hurts when the pills wear off. No tapdancing for six weeks.

Pain is fun for sure.
I fell in Oct. and tore the right shoulder bone bald is what the doctor said. Surgery in Sept. and three months of therapy has just ended. Still wakes me up in the night but can do most every thing needed except on the ceiling.

Get well quick and follow the instructions for a full recovery.

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone. You will be seeing me a lot more of me on here. I was also thinking that now would be a good time to call in a few favours and get a few jobs done around here. Another good thing is the wife and I have been doing stuff we havn't done for years like playing cards and board games or just hanging out.

tearing up knees ain't no fun i wrecked my left knee about 30 years ago and am still paying for it.
april 20 i go in for knee replacement.
that has to make knee better.

When that cast feels like its eating on your hide git out the vaccum cleaner .Get out crevas tool put on suction side slip in top of cast.This will dry inside of cast.Been there don that

I busted my kneecap the 19th of January. Just got the clear from the doc to drive, auto only and stay off the big roads. Sure wish I could have learned to use crutches first! Good luck!
