Update on my post about about a disc.

A couple days ago I posted about a guy wanting a disc that I had but didn't own. The disc is owned by an MX club. When I told the guy he had to talk to the president of the club about the disc, he said he'd call him right away but I never heard anything more about it. I sent a PM to the club pres. and also talked to the vice pres. of the club. The VP called the pres. and then called me back. They both agreed that I did the right thing in telling the guy he has to talk to the pres. or alternately the VP of the club. He did not talk to anyone from the club prior to calling me wanting the disc. The club also agreed they should pay for blades broken at their track and I will pay for blades broken at my track. That just makes sense. I was also told that if the guy calls me again, to tell him he has to talk to the president of the club. He was trying to pull a fast one and end up with the disc at his track. I figured as much. The reason I never fixed the disc when I borrowed it was because I didn't think it would be good to borrow it and then ask for money to repair it, when it was being used on my track. They never used it on their own, so why would they want to spend money on it, especially when I was using it? It worked good enough the way it was. I'll price out some blades and might just fix the whole thing for them. I'll see what they plan to do with it. I'd like to find a little heavier of a disc. Thanks for good advice and comments. Dave

If your busting blades the disk is nt up to the task . Let the club sell it to the blow hard and get you a better disk wether you fix it or not . Around here in S.E. IN. the con. sales are full of disks . If you fix and use it the blades will break again .Not trying to be negitive just an opinion .
