we've had a nice run of weather. Mid 60s. Supose to turn colder next week. The 30" of snow that was dumped on us earlier this month turned into water and mud.I was able to open the doors on the tractor barn today and give the gals a breath of fresh spring air, although 3 of them may still be choking on exaust fumes, since I only backed the 770 out. The incoming storm kicked the winds up to 8 to 15 MPH enabling the Mariah to produce a few coins worth of electricity this afternoon. It was a nice relaxing day. Spring is the best time of the year!

Yep, this past week was nice. But,,, cold is to come back by this weeks end, down to 24 Thursday night, mid 40s during the week and rain. Great more mud!LOL J

It was in upper 70's Friday with sunshine. Yesterday (Saturday) we had T-storms, and temp dropped over night to low 50's. During the day, it dropped even more, and into the mid 30's over night last night. Today, it got to the upper 40's again, and we have a freeze warning tonight (Sunday night). Tomorrow, back into the upper 60's. Last two days, wind has been steady at about 30 mph gusting to 40 or so. Would make good electricity I guess. Still blowing after dark at about 15-20 mph. So wet you sink in the yard, or any place else that is not gravel or pavement when walking or driving. Oh, and rumor has it, it's headed your way... Still had some ice and snow falling this morning in N.E. part of the State, and that was moving East too. Located in Central Texas between I-45 and I-35...

Beautiful day here in Nebraska, looks like 50's and 60's all week. How do you like your generator? Niose level, output, ROI?

drove down to Brooks for some chicken yesterday, lots of fields underwater along 87 plus snow still on the hills, creeks running to top of the banks

they sure got a lot more snow than Cranesville did

Is that farm in the photo actually in the Park? Just curious as I haven't seen many large farms inside the Blue line; at least not the original line. If you're near Sacandaga, the current line runs near Caroga and Mayfield as I recall?

I'm in Otsego County but also have property in Hamilton Co. (Indian Lake) and drive though Johnstown and Sacandaga often. Once I get to Wells, when the hills start, the weather is about two weeks behind, in the Spring, and Fall comes 2-3 weeks early. I.e., a pretty lousy and short growing season. It's bas enough here in Otsego Co. for farming.

Hi jdmaris. I don't live in the park. I am much closer to you than you think, just off 20 2mi. east of 20/80 intersection. I have done a lot of work above the Blue Line and know bunches of people up there.
Hay supergrumpy, you live a sheltered life down there!
