Clevite Bearing Question

I have a set of old bearings that are from Clevite that are part # MB1634 B. I searched the internet to find out what they fit, but can't get back far enough. The box also says Monmouth, but I can't cross that to anything. Does anyone have a Clevite book that goes back far enough to find out what they fit? Thanks in advance - Bob

Clevite is now part of the Mahle conglomerate. If you google Mahle you will find lots of crap to sort through. There are engine bearing catalogs that you can pull up, though, and it might help you find what your bearings fit.

FEIW: several of my bearing catalogs, though different company names, use the same numbers (may well"ve been a series of buyouts/takeovers)...
One (1966 or so Thompson Prod) shows an MB1634B as the #3 or #4 main in a raft of 4 and 6cyl MM engines (NOT as a main bearing set number), and that it was superseded by MB2028B (no date given).
Looks like on 4cyl"s #1 main is MB1632B, #2 main is MB1633B, #3 MB2028B...on 6"s (early) #1 is 1632B, #2 and #3 is 1633B, #4 is 1634B...on late 6"s it goes 1632B, 1633B and 2028B...
My only Clevite catalog, 1994, doesn"t list 1634 (goes from 1629 to 1636) or 2028 (goes from 2027-MM4 and 6, to 2032-MM 4).
