Between the John Deere 5010-5020 which is the better tractor? Which is more valuable? Thanks

The 5020 is the better tractor. Don't know about collector value, but useful value the 5020 easily wins. The 5010 was considerably underpowered for it's weight.

Some of the early 5010s had green blocks.Had to be counter bored and copper spacers used under the lip on the liners.The castings weren't aged long enough before they were machined.Once this was done to them, they were good old dependable tractors even if short of power for their weight at 120 hp.

Late 5020 side console would be the best of those three versions.

I don't think they ever made a side consoloe 5020. At least I have never seen one. I think I read a magazine article a while back that said that.

Poor choice of words.
Side console era 1969 when the diesel 3020,4020,5020 went from 24V to 12V starting.

I've owned only 1 5020, also bought a 4020 with 23.1's at the same time, the 4020 would out pull the 5020, maybe weight , not sure why?
