Nothing like a little Rust and Relaxation...

Being I been home from my latest work assignment, waiting to be told what state I'm going to next, and given the nice weather we're having in Mi, I decided that I should take advantage and spend some time wrenching..

Today, I realized after working on my pickup, cleaning fuel tanks for tractors, shuffling things from one place to another, and fixing on my trailer.. There is just nothing like some Rust and Relaxation to wash away the stresses of work, bills, money, and all my other usual worries... And no matter how bad the day in the shop goes or seems to go, it's always better than a good day at work LOL...

I guess I really didn't have a point in saying any of this, other than saying a day in the shop is better than vacation for me, and I get a feeling that there's a few people on the forum here that feel the same way.

Yesterday after getting my Ford 9000 split I realized that I have to do a double split to get at the problem. But It doesn't bother me much. If it were late spring or summer though it would be a different story.

Did a little work on my NAA today. Shop door open wide,..what a beautiful day. 60+ degrees here just south of Grand Rapids.Had some plumming to do in the house also. Got that done and enjoyed the weather. Looks like cold temps this week-end, so enjoy it while you can.

Yea, in perfect time.. I got called this morning, and there is work awaiting my arrival in Virginia.. But sure was glad for the nice weather. Didn't get near enough done these few days, but that's ok.. 3 or 4 weeks and I'll get a week or so of home time again.
