Farmall Super MTA overhaul

I am overhauling a Super MTA and am wondering about the difference between stepped head pistons and stepped head fire crater pistons? Also wondering if there is some kind of a high performance head gasket or if they are all the same? Thanks

I used the fire crater last time around, and the owner is quite happy with them. It was not in too bad of shape to begin with but was getting coolant in his crank case. He claims he has allot more power now. Kinda wish we would have put it on a dyno before and after.

Fire Crater increase bore pistons, updated performance cam, new jets in carb, Advance distributor as kit recommends and if you really want a lp gas head. Should be way ahead of a 450

Has anyone used the high performance copper head gaskets that denny's carb shop offers? I cant seem to keep stock ones from leaking.
