Found 6 nos pistons,fit ??

In stuff my father bought years ago i found 6 nos pistons they are 3 5/8 and have number 318377b2 on the top.They are aluminum and the top is hollowed a little. What would they fit? The other stuff around them is new idea. We never had anything they fit.

Think back about tractors (or trucks)that your father owned.Or,maybe they just came in a box of 'junk'that he bought at a sale.

Toss out the (b) and make it an (R) and it becomes an IH part number... 318377R2 POSSIBLY for a 282 diesel. Enter 318377R2 into GOOGLE and you can check further.

I think you are right the B was hard to read. I know where there is a d282 apart and can go look tomarrow. Thanks alot.

318377R2 should be a piston for 560, 660, 504, & 2504 diesels.

Yes they match a d282 diesel.
