Ford 340 fuel leak on a Banjo connector

Take the copper washers out and heat with a torch till they swell.Called reaneeling, but I've spelled it wrong.Be careful you don't melt them.Let them cool, reinstall and retighten and they will crush again, leak stopped.

WoW! I never would have thought of that fix, that is definitely worth a try. I suppose I never thought the copper washers were crushable enough to stop fuel leaks, however, diesel fuel leaks are not my strong suit. I guess I need a crash course on banjo connectors. Many Thanks!
