Good looking old disk! Do you know what brand it is? I have a Kewanee that has bearings like those, but I suppose all the old ones like that did too. This disk is a Minne-Mo that I drug out of the weeds and donated to our tractor club. Blades were still good and works OK. Chris

Looks like you had some good help also. Did you replace the blades? I have an old IH that has some blades busted and I could use some used ones to fix it up. Chris
 
At least you had some help. Friend's wall heaved this winter in CT so I dressed it up a bit for him today. His back's long gone.

You did a great job on the fence. That is an IH disk my dad bought new in 1950. I found a doner so I have spare disks, we had to replace 5.Jim
 
My dads first tractor looked just like your Hart-Parr. He got it right before WW2 and used it until about 1955. By that time he had several other tractors and the Old tractor was parked in the back of the shed and never got out to be used again. He always started it up about once a month and let it run as long as it took to bring the cows in he told me .I went into the service in 1955 and when I came home it was gone.In his old age he loved to sit and talk about his Horses and Tractors.He left us in 1981.
 
Nice looking tractor, what year is it? I see it has 'Oliver' in small letters on the radiator.

Mine is a 1936 model and on both the fuel tank and the rad 'Oliver' is in large letters with 'Hart-Parr' smaller. Do you know what year the change was made.
 
It looks like you planned ahead and had pictures before it fell over so that you could get it just right.
 
Dad made wooden skids for our old tandem...thats hard work tearing down the gangs like that.
