What’s the going hourly rate for a 16 ton excavator and operator? A neighbor what me to remove some fence rows and bury old barn

Depends? Are you insured? How much experience do you have? If you have Insurance and are an expert with the machine then $100 would be appropriate. But.........If no insurance then $50.

We get $125 per for 40k machine plus mob one way of $ 110 per In the city, $75 to $100 for farmer work as long as it is paid when done,

I hired a guy last year with a case 680 backhoe and it was $50 per hour. The excavator would be more.

I had one in this summer to do some work. I paid about $125 an hour plus move in of $200 or $300. Those machines can get a lot done in a couple hours...

I have a 90000lb machine and am insured and get $150.00 per hour and time starts from when I leave my house till job is done. But I can move around average of 20 yards per minute. I can take down 60 ft tree in about 3 minutes.

That's about a 3/4 yd. machine but it depends on several things. Is it fairly new or an old machine? How much experience do you have? A really good operator can charge more because they will get the job done better and faster. A bad operator will take a long time and often leave a mess. Even though they charge less per hour, the customer will end up paying more in the long run and not have the job done the way they want. I've seen the same type of thing in landscaping. Dave
