I'm gonna be heading south, down 95 or 301, later this week, was wondering if there are any tractor junkyards along that route, or near the Petersburg/Richmond area?

Not that I know of Yinglings in Gettysburg PA and
Fitz in Danville VA are pretty much it.Some people around with some parts tractors what brand are you looking for?

Yinglings is to the north of me, knew Bud well, he was a good guy, may he r.i.p.. I mostly fool around with old A-C D series, snap coupler implements, do a little scouting for a friend who has some oddball ford hundred series, but really look at anything, cause I always learn something at a junkyard. You always see what someone made of a broken, or wore out something else!

hey diydave you can come up to my place and see stuff that was broken or wore out on old stuff then put on something new that also broke and wore out. might save you a trip.

There used to be a guy over toward Charlottesville that had a bunch of old AC stuff. But I don't know if he is still around or even where exactly he was at. Maybe this will jog someone's memory.

When I used to got to Petersburg on business, lunch breaks and often my per-diem were spent at Agri-Supply. They are right off exit 48 on Normandy Drive.

If its AC stuff you're looking for shoot me an email I have lots about 75 miles West of Richmond.
I was good friends with Bud too went by to see him the day before he died was shocked when they called me the next morning to tell me he had passed.

That's where I was headed, went down 95, and back up 301, cause they was relocating potholes on the NB side! At least I had a nice drive up 301 on the way back.
