I have an old case tractor with the serial number of ( 5326845DL ) and was wondering if someone could tell the model number and some information on this tractor.

Thanks.

Ben

I thnk the last letter in the serial number is an I rather than an L. You have a 1949 Case DI industrial version of the D series tractors.... Gene

Do you have a picture? There's a chance the 'L' might be a 'C', which is much more common than an 'I'.

The DI's would have a wide front end and 24-26" rear rims. The DC's would generally be narrow front end and have 38" diameter rear rims. Horsepower would be in the upper 30's. Weight is around 6000 lbs. They are rugged machines but parts are generally expensive when compared to green or red tractors.

Good luck.

I dont have a picture with me. Its at our ranch about 6 hours away. It does have the large 38 in tires in the rear and small tires in the front that are in a "v" style. It appeared to be red in the past but had been painted over with john deere green. It also has a hand crank on the front if that helps.

Ben, judging by the description, i believe the L is actually a c making your tractor a case DC. According to the serial number it is a 1949 model. Hope that this helps
