I"m in southern Illimoi just outside St Louis Mo. and it 28 deg and no precipatation. Calling for mid 40"s all next week. SPRINGS COMMING!!!! Mike

Got about 3 more in. overnight , was just starting to see a few grass patches on the south facing hills . We have set a record of over 23 in. in Feb. , not the kind of record I want to set . I gota hand it to you guys in the north that live with the snow for several months , your just tougher than I am I reckon . I ve had all this snow I can handle . The cows burned through the hay , with a foot and a half of snow on the ground the cows just stand at the feeders and eat and dont get out and wander and pick any , sorta like me and the fridg when I m in the house , bought my first bales yesterday . The wood pile looks real low and the snows been to deep to fight it . Bought a new saw and cant get to the woods , there is some stuff along the road I can get if I have to . Everything is just a pain in the rear to get done when it s like this , to top it off the ground is not froze under all this , just mud . Guess it will warm up some day just glad were looking at the 1st of march and not the 1st of Dec. I m about ready to kick the dog but I know if I took a swing at him I d look like Charlie Brown kickin at that football then the dog would be lickin me in the face and thinkin I was wanting yo play . Three more days of clouds and snow showers then some 40s and some sun , thats the samething the said last week and the week before . All the signs are here skunks , robins , the ball players have went south for spring training , Mother nature sure is playing a joke on us . Could be worst , just seen on the news theres another storm heading up the east coast and will dump 30 in. in some areas . Sorry but you asked !!

Its 6 above and sunshine! Supposed to get to 28 today. The ten day forecast is sunshine and a little warmer each day. That will start mud season, the only thing that I dread worse than snow and cold is mud. The road to spring is a mud path!

Snuck in and out of Long Island last evening while it was dry, already dispatched for Bridgewater tonight, and that ain"t happening.

We"ve got about 2 inches on the ground here, waiting for the rest to come and the wind to kick in.

After about a foot Tues. night, we're looking at 15"-20" today through tomorrow. But it's warm! 35 degrees. Don't know how we can have snow at that temp., but it's comin' down fast and furious as we speak. Catskill Mts., Ulster County, NY.

35 and nothing in N. Maine Storm must have missed us. Suppose to have rain since we are on the warm onshore wind part of this one Ed

You"re in North Branch - I"m in Belle Mead (Montgomery) I don"t post too much, just read alot. My father in law has an 80 ac farm & farms about 400 in total. Has about 25 IH tractors, I only have 10. Stop by for a tour sometime.

Minus 12 here this am, but the sun is shining bright and it warms real quickly. Going ice fishing on saturday and it is supposed to be in the thirties. Like Lorena Bobbit said "It won't be long now".

I would love to . I worked on a elementary school in montgomery about 8 years ago, they built it in the middle of the deserted state institution. I worked there laying brick and block. I worked there about 6 months.

was around 30* last nite here in Colorado County,Tejas...looks like gonna be in the 60's today and sunny...time to get some work done before the sun parks itself over my ranch this summer.

Had about two dry, sunny and warm weeks in western Washington, but getting back to normal now- intermittent rain, temp in mid 40's.

Gray is beautiful.

Yea,
That sucks, use to get my fence boards from them. Now have to go up to Creveling saw mill.I get all my feed from Sergentsville Grain and Feed.I actually live in Kingwood Twsp.,but have a Flemington mailing address.

yep...tooo dayummmm close to Houston for comfort...got people commuting from here every day...if i go,its at gunpoint.

sooo...George Mitchell still running the show up in that neck of tha woods??? he tried to get me to give him the old homestead on Galveston Island...he figured since he owned land on 3 sides of me,he'd squeeze me out...told him to go ahead and build a subdivision and i'd reopen my salvage yard 24/7...i won lmao

Got all the way up to 28 today, but with the sun it feels pretty nice. WGEM (Quincy IL) verified how cold February has been. 22 of the 25 days high temps have been below normal, only one day has been above normal.

NWS Quad Cities website climate page for Burlington, IA shows the monthly average to date being 5.2 degrees below normal. That is without today's average temp 18 degrees below normal averaged in.

That is after January running 3.7 below norms.

We should be at 41 and 24 by now. The closest we have got this month was 37 on February 1, it has all been downhill since then. DOUG
